Privacy Policy

At Beulah (“we”, “our”, “the App”), we respect your privacy and the nature of your “secret place.” This policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information.

1. Information we collect

• Account data: when you sign up (e.g. with Google), we receive information provided by the sign-in provider, such as your email address, processed through Firebase Authentication (Google Cloud).
• Prayer requests and content you submit: text or related metadata for the prayer service so authorized ministry staff can respond.
• Usage and technical data: basic device and app information for security, diagnostics, and service improvement.

2. How we use information

We use your information to:

• Provide app features (Bible, notes, series, prayers, etc.).
• Allow authorized ministry personnel to process and respond to prayer requests where applicable.
• Maintain platform security and meet legal obligations.

We do not sell or rent your personal data or prayer requests to third parties for advertising.

3. Storage and security

Information is processed on Google Cloud Platform infrastructure (Firebase / Firestore and related services), with access controls aligned to the product design. Sensitive ministry data access is limited to authorized roles.

4. Your rights: access, correction, and deletion (app store requirements)

As required by Apple App Store and Google Play policies, and applicable law where relevant:

• Delete your account and data: you may request deletion of your account and associated personal data at any time. When available in the app, you may start the process from account settings. Until then, or to ensure complete deletion (including server or backup retention per technical timelines), email contacto@joinbeulah.org with the subject line “Account deletion” and the email address you used to register. We will respond within a reasonable time (target: within 30 days) and confirm when the process is complete, except where we must retain certain information for legal reasons.
• Correct or update data: to fix your email or other profile data, contact the same address with the subject “Data correction”.
• Copy of your data: you may request information about the data we process regarding your account by emailing the same address.

5. Retention

We keep information as long as needed to provide the service, comply with the law, and resolve disputes. After a valid deletion request, we will delete or anonymize your personal data when technically feasible, except for minimum retention required by law.

6. Children

The app is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your country). If you believe we have collected data from a child, contact us to remove it.

7. Changes

We may update this policy; we will post the revision date on this page. Continued use of the app after material changes means you acknowledge them.
